We are delighted that three of our children’s authors are longlisted for the UK Literacy Association Awards.

Stardust by Jeanne Willis has been chosen in the ages 3-6 category, The Children of Castle Rock by Natasha Farrant in the ages 7-11 category; and The Colour of the Sun by David Almond in the ages 12-16 category.

These unique book awards are judged by active classroom teachers. This year the teacher judges come from the Midlands region around Sheffield, and the winners will be announced on 12th July 2019 at the 2019 UKLA International Conference at Sheffield Hallam University. UKLA is a registered charity dedicated to the advancement of education in literacy.
