Felicity Bryan


Felicity Bryan (1945-2020) was a journalist on The Financial Times and The Economist before joining Curtis Brown where she became a director. In 1988 she founded her agency РFBA Рin Oxford. She represented numerous prize-winning authors of non-fiction, including journalists, historians, science writers, gardeners and cooks. Felicity’s authors are now represented by her colleagues Catherine Clarke, Caroline Wood, Carrie Plitt and Sally Holloway.

Caroline Wood was a film producer before joining Felicity Bryan Associates in 2006. She represents writers of literary fiction, well-written commercial fiction and crime fiction, including a number of award-winning and top ten best-selling authors. She also represents some non-fiction, primarily memoirs. She became a director of FBA in 2010.

Before becoming an agent, Sally was a publisher, editing and commissioning authors for Penguin, Headline, Fourth Estate and others. She represents non-fiction writers, some award-winners and bestsellers, others just starting out on their careers, many with international appeal.

Carrie Plitt

Agent and Director

Before joining Felicity Bryan Associates as an agent in 2016, Carrie worked for five years at C&W Literary Agency. She represents award-winning authors of non-fiction in categories including science, nature, history and current affairs, and writers of literary and book-club fiction. She was named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2018, and promoted to the board of directors in 2019.
