The Republic of Consciousness Prize for Small Presses rewards the best fiction published by publishers with fewer than 5 full-time employees, yearly.

We are thrilled that MURMUR by Will Eaves,  published by CB Editions has been shortlisted for the prize.

Each press on the shortlist is awarded £1000, and all of the shortlisted authors take home £500. The winning press will be awarded £2,500, with the author receiving an extra £1,000. The winner will be announced at an award ceremony at Foyles Charing Cross on 28th March.

The prize was set-up by prize winning author Neil Griffiths. The judges this year are the literary critics David Collard and Catherine Taylor, and the novelist Niven Govinden, alongside a student panel from the UEA Creative Writing programme. – The Bookseller
