LAST CHRISTMAS: The Book released, with money from each copy going to Crisis and the Refugee Council

When you think back to Christmases past, what (if anything) made it magical? Looking towards the future, what would your perfect Christmas be? What would you change? What should we all change?

Today marks the release of a very special Christmas book – Last Christmas ties in with the upcoming festive blockbuster, but is so much more than a tie-in. It’s a heartwarming and heartrending collection of essays and memories – with writing by celebrities (Graham Norton, Meryl Streep, Stephen Fry, Bill Bailey, Caitlin Moran…) alongside people who have suffered homelessness, political refugees, and the kind and brave volunteers who have helped them both. 25p from each and every copy sold will go directly to Crisis and the Refugee Council, and the whole thing has been curated by the wonderful Greg Wise and Emma Thompson. The Hay Festival is in full swing, one of the biggest literary events of the year, and returning as always with an amazing programme of leading writers ✍️
