Eloise Rickman

Eloise is a writer and parent educator who works with clients around the world through parenting courses and private coaching as well as her Instagram account @mightymother_. Her work focuses on evidence-based parenting, home education, and helping families find more rhythm and ease in their daily lives, and is underpinned by the belief that parenting can be a radical act. Her first book Extraordinary Parenting: The Essential Guide to Parenting and Educating at Home (May 2020, Scribe UK/US) provides clear, peaceful, and practical advice on parenting whilst navigating a changing and uncertain world.

Born in Brighton, Eloise read social anthropology at Cambridge University where she first became interested in how childhood and family practices shape society. Her work has been featured on the BBC, and she is a regular guest on podcasts. She lives in South London with her husband and young daughter, who has been home educated from birth.
