Clover Stroud

Clover is an author, broadcaster and journalist who has written regular lifestyle features for the Times and the Telegraph, as well as numerous magazines such as the Spectator, Red and Elle. Her first book, The Wild Other (Hodder), was a memoir of love, loss, and danger, detailing how her mother’s horrific riding accident sent her out into the world on a journey that took her to the brink of self destruction, seeking experiences in the form of wild horses, sex, narcotics and wild men, and drew praise from Elizabeth Day, Olivia Laing, and Cathy Rentzenbrink, among others.

Clover was then a contributor to an anthology about motherhood, Things I Wish I’d Known (Icon) before writing her own memoir on motherhood, My Wild and Sleepness Nights, due for release in February 2020 and already attracting advance praise from Sophie Dahl (“Generous, tender, resonant”), India Knight (“Visceral and brillant”), and Bryony Gordon (“A remarkable woman, and an incredible writer”).
